I’m swimming in a field of lost hopes and dreams.
I get tongue-tied and teary-eyed.
I listen to the voices in my head.
Trap my emotions until I explode.
I’m racing and full of sweat.
The drenching and clenching heat of pain strikes my poise.
Soul-searching is never ending, when there is a widespread path to walk and learn.
I steam in a bowl of chili.
I bake in a plate of blood.
Chickens get a taste of your meat.
Surrounding glances.
Endless misfortune.
Peace lies within so many hearts, but not the boxes I scope.
Wash my mouth out with Listerine.
I rid the taste of brutality.
I rush into flames of roaring fire.
Bag your tears and save your sorrows because no one cares to know.
